Family courts today form an integral part of the contemporary judicial system. Owing to the increase in the institution of suits pertaining to family matters, awareness of the practice and procedure before family courts becomes indispensible for lawyers and individuals and organizations striving for family welfare. However, law students and many in the legal fraternity are still not clear about the real-life practices and stepwise approach to handle matrimonial cases, maintenance and alimony, guardianship, custody and access of minors and the like and incidental matters, execution proceedings and appellate procedures.
This course gives the practical facet of the proceedings and procedure before the family courts. It provides the fees, forms and formats, counseling procedure under the order of a family court and other nuances. True-case-based assignments are given so that the learners get an in-the-court experience in the subject.
Learners must submit all assignments and secure at least 50% marks in Certification Exam at the end of the course to obtain the course certificate.
