Basic difference between IPC, CrPC and CPC?

Indian Penal Code is a substantive Law. It defines the basic definition and ingredients of the crime and it's punishment only. Where Criminal Procedure Code is a Procedural Law. It applies for the legal process and procedures for remedial approach as well.

IPC deals with crimes and punishments; CrPC tells about the criminal trial procedure and cpc covers the procedure for civil suits, family disputes etc.
