An RTI application is a powerful tool in the hands of citizens. It brings not only transparency but also accountability in governance. No wonder, students, journalists, social workers and common people use it extensively to get information related to work done in various projects and fields, and also keep a check on the government. Even though RTI is widely used and is quite popular, many people are not aware of what, how and where of the RTI process, marring their ability to file an application.
This course empowers you to file an RTI application by providing all key aspects of the procedure and sharing examples and samples. It outlines salient features of the Right to Information Act, 2005 emphasizing on how it promotes transparency and accountability in the working of the Government. The course gives the practical applicability of the Right to Information Act, 2005 and brings greater clarity on RTI among various stakeholders.
